Reality - it's closer than you think!
The word 'seminar' comes from the Latin 'semin' for seed
and is about people meeting to learn and grow under tuition.

The following is a copy of the orientation sheet
handed to participants of a recent event in London -

                Welcome to realitychecker
Namaste.
The purpose of this seminar is to affirm being present here and now and now and now. Of course, you say, "I am, here", so are you affirming the sheer beauty, ease, stillness and divinity of this wonderful state?
If you are not enjoying your being, fully, you have the potential of using this space to do so. We can support each other in switching off from worldly matters and switch on to simply being. Where I am coming from sets the stage for how I am now, at ease or dis-ease, which sets the direction to where I am heading. So today I intend having, at least, an interlude. How about you - are you ready for some realitychecking? Namaste: which means - I honour the place in you where the entire universe resides. I honour the place in you of love, of truth, of peace. I honour the place within you where, if you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us. One - I !

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure about you. You were born to manifest the glory that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our a light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberate others."
                                                                        Nelson Mandela quoting Marianne Williamson

"The fullness of time is here and now, and Spring does not last forever. It is time to gather my energy and walk through the confusions and paradoxes, the opposing pulls and contradictory challenges, the desires and attachments, needs and programmes, and all kinds of fears and blocks and "get it on". This means getting centred on a path that is chosen for no better reason, and no worse, than that my intuition says, "it feels right".                                                                                                          Rivers, from Dwellings

"He’s here but he’s not here. He rejects the here, is unhappy with it, wants to be further up the trail but when he gets there will be just as unhappy because he will be "here." What he is looking for, what he wants is all around him but he doesn't  want that because it is all around him. Every step is an effort, both physically and spiritually, because he imagines his goal to be external and distant."
Pirsig, from Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance

"Until one is committed there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that moment when one definitely commits oneself then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would otherwise never have occurred. A whole stream of events  issues from the decision raising in one’s favour. All manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt    could have come his way.

I have learned a deep respect for one of Goethe’s couplets:
"Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it."
                                                                                                               W. H. Murray

By attending this seminar you agree that you are your own authority and therefore are fully responsible for your self and will neither blame others, nor disclose any confidential material that they may share. The seminar is for welcoming the present, so don’t expect to get anything, instead let go, surrender. It is the attachment to getting, having and wanting that obscures - being, right now. For a change of pace, please don’t try to fix anything. Let natural being, be enough. Thank you, Namaste.
